Don't drink away your calories


Many people train hard and consistently, eat clean, sleep well but don't lose weight why because they drink away there calories. Now obviously you think of alcohol and think well no wonder you will never lose weight whilst you are drinking every night. True but some people don't drink alcohol but love soft drinks and don't lose weight. Well of course I hear you say with all the sugar in soft drinks no wonder they don't lose weight. But what about fruit juice? Fruit juice has found a way of making fruit bad for you.  How do you do it. You getting rid of all the fibrous and nutritious part of the fruit leaving only the fructose (sugar) then add some a heap more sugar and preservatives and presto you have successfully made a good food bad. Some juice has more sugar than soft drinks.
But what if you don't drink alcohol, juice or full sugar soft drinks all you drink is zero calorie soft drinks. You will be fine then wont you? No because the artificial sweeteners is these drinks make you crave sugary foods and even if you have an iron will and don't give in to temptation caused by diet drinks you will eventually put on fat around your midriff due to continued drinking of these diet drinks. This is because of the stress your digestive system is under trying to consume these poisons.  The artificial sweeteners and chemicals in these drinks are poison to the human body we were never designed to have these. Now I know some people unfortunately don't care about what is good or bad for them as long as they stay lean. Hence the popularity of diet soft drinks. So if I go on about how bad soft drinks are for you they wont care as long as it doesn't affect them til they are old. That's why people still smoke cigarettes. Well you may not be as old as you think before it catches up to you but the fat around the midriff caused by excessive stress in the body trying to digest these drinks can take only a couple of years to develop. The hormone cortisol is released into the system causing fat to accumulate in the stomach. So while you be having no calories in your soft drinks you will still be fat due to the stress response caused by consuming these drinks. So stop just drink water and herbal or green tea. If not for your health then for your waistline.
