When it comes to training consistency is the key

Consistency

Most people get on a health kick and go hell for leather training hard out everyday for a week or two or maybe a month then decide its all to hard and go back to being a couch potato. These people usually train really hard everyday at unsustainable levels til it all gets too hard then they give up all together. Or they get an overuse injury from going too hard too fast then give up.
Don't get me wrong there is nothing wrong with training hard for an athlete or an experienced trainer but for your average Joe it wont work. They need to ease there way into it train two maybe three times a week and increase by no more than 10% a week.   Make it your goal to train two or three times a week until your body gets used to it then you can up the amount of training sessions once you are used to it. But make your goal something you can commit to forever. Don't overcommit to training everyday if you cant maintain it. Be consistent if you plan to train three times a week then let nothing stop you training three times a week.  No excuses get out and train. Focus on that goal only of making your three sessions then the weight or gains will look after itself.
