The 5 Dietary Principles
Hi Guys time for another Dietary Principle today its number four - Eat fresh. What i mean by this is eat fresh food - Vegetables, fruit, nuts, seeds anything that has been grown naturally not processed food. Or if your not a vegetarian then fresh fish, Turkey , chicken and meat. Sounds obvious it is. Try not to eat anything out of a packet and you have succeeded.
Whilst it might sound easy, at your local supermarket there is one fresh food isle or maybe two then another 8 or nine or even 10 isles of processed junk. So the odds are against you just staying in the fresh produce and only buying your food there. But you must.
To eat truely fresh you must eat organic food and free range food. The supermarkets are starting to become better in this area but it is only a very small organic section and only some products are free range but at least they are trying. So the local farmers market is the place to get your fresh food, whilst it may cost a bit more your waistline will love you for it and so will your stress levels so you will live longer and healthier.
