5. Enjoy Your Cheat Day

The 5 Dietary Principles

Ok your going to like this one - enjoy your cheat day or cheat meals. Sounds to good to be true. Well there are a few stipulations to remember. Cheat day only happens once a week as a reward for having a good week.

That means no sugar apart from natural sugar like whats in an apple, for the week. No sweets, no alcohol, no sugar no cheat meals or bad choices all week just veggies and lean fish or meat, beans, nuts, legumes, fruit is your only sugar for the week. Then on a Saturday or Sunday you have deserved a day off or cheat day when you can enjoy some of the things you have been denying yourself all week.
Dont over indulge still keep to your portion sizes and keep the calories under control. So if your counting calories and you say have 1500 per day then you can have a day when you have 1800  or 1900 calories  but only once  a week dont make it a cheat weekend or week. When Sunday rolls around its over, back on the good eating horse.

This will give your metabolism a boost and your weight loss will actually improve because of this spike in your metabolic rate. Your body will realise after a few cycles or weeks that its not staving it doesnt need to store fat for the time of little there will always be a flood on Saturday so storing of excess fat is not needed.
So there some good news at the end of the very strict and a little preachy - sorry - 5 dietary principles. Notice i didnt put a picture of sweets this week i thought that was flirting with disaster. Thanks for listening see you next week.
