Obesity
Last year I wrote an article about obesity and how do we solve it. Its a year later and the statistics for the world and Australia only got worse. Where are we going wrong? As a trainer at Kangaroo Point i see heaps of boot camps and PT sessions filled with fit people or people with a couple of Kilo's to lose but i lever see obese or even many overweight people. I worry that all we are doing is getting the reasonably fit - fitter and the slightly overweight - lean and not getting to the people who need it the most the 60% of Australians that are overweight or obese.
So where are all these people? How do we get these people to train? I understand why they don't. All those fit people running around i can see why they don't join boot camps. But what about PT why don't they do one on one training? This style is perfect for them. Perfect for you. So if you are one of the 60% overweight or obese then now is the time to break the cycle. Its going to be a long road and its going to be hard sometimes. But in the end its your life you are extending. You only have one life to live, one body you must look after it.
