Training Myths part 4 - There are no short cuts


Yes sorry to be the bearer of bad news but there is no short cuts to being healthy. Healthy veterans already know this but to the new guys starting out sorry there is no magic pill that will make you fit and lean despite what it says on late night TV and the internet. Isn't amazing the amount off crap on TV selling fat burning drugs or ab machines. These adds all use the same formula get a buff guy or girl get them to sit on your machine or promote your supplement and everyone will think they got there body by using it. The fact is that they dont use it they got there rock hard abs from a mix of hard work and a good diet. They are just on the adds because they are  paid actors like movie actors.
So all those ab crunchers, weigh loss pills, fat burners are a waste of time and money. Instead spend your time training and your money on organic food and you will achieve your goals.  In a country like Australia where we have plenty of food there is no need to ever have supplements you can get all your vitamins and minerals from food. Just eat lots of veggies all types except  white potatoes, some fruit, real fish not fish oil, lean meat seeds and nuts and stop being lazy and looking for the quick fix.  Train hard eat well and you can achieve the body you want and leave those supplements and ab machines alone.
