It doesn't matter what type of exercise you do whether it be running, walking, boxing, circuit training or swimming it all lowers your blood pressure. There have been many studies showing that just 20 to 30 minutes of exercise three times a week will drop your systolic (top number) pressure down by 4 mm HG and Diastolic (bottom number) down by 2.5 mm HG. So get out there and get your exercise today to be as healthy as you can be.
